Senior Scientist DSP Process Development 

 

Job description

·         Expediting customer projects as project team member responsible for DSP Process Development

·         Guiding DSP Scientists and managing personnel and equipment resources for said customer projects

·         Working on internal projects for continuously improving DSP development strategy

·         Screening for and establishing of new technologies for high throughput downstream process development of proteins

·         Providing in-depth downstream processing expertise to the other team members of the DSP Process Development Team

·         Reporting to the Team Leader DSP Process Development

 

Qualification and skills:

·         Master or PhD in Biochemical engineering, Biotechnology, or Biochemistry

·         Minimum 3 years industry experience in DSP process development of biopharmaceuticals

·         Hands-on experience with common DSP equipment (chromatography skids (ÄKTA) and filtration device), experience with automated liquid handling systems favorable

·         Thorough knowledge of chromatography as well as filtration applications for downstream processing of proteins

·         Empathic and solution oriented personality with sound communication skills, basic leadership experience favorable

·         Proven capabilities in working in interdisciplinary teams

·         Excellent English skills, German skills favorable
