Basel acquisition:
In order to be ready for GMP production up to market demands, a production facility in Basel, Switzerland, was established by the additionally founded Celonic AG in 2006. The Basel facility comprises office and lab space including all necessary systems e.g. HVAC, WFI, all process equipment and separate hygiene zones for the simultaneous production of up to two different products. In order to convey the Basel facility into an autonomous legal status, Celonic AG was founded in the same year.
