Celonic AG Partners with Sparta to Improve Quality and Deliver Higher Customer Satisfaction

HAMILTON, N.J., Dec. 12, 2018 /PRNewswire/ — Sparta Systems, Inc., the leading provider of quality and regulatory management solutions, announced that Celonic AG, a leading Swiss biologics contract development and manufacturing organization (CDMO) is adopting Sparta’s TrackWise Digital QMS platform to upgrade its quality management system. This will supplement and enhance Celonic’s ability to ensure quality across the organization and allow its customers — many of the world’s leading biopharmaceutical companies — to attain their submission goals more efficiently and reliably.

“As our company grew, we knew our existing in-house quality system would not scale to provide the visibility needed across the organization to make our vision for quality a reality,” said Renato Wirthner, EVP of Quality for Celonic. “Of all the vendors we evaluated, Sparta was the only one who could offer the combined document and quality management functionality we needed, along with reliable support and timely implementation. I see TrackWise Digital as the best quality management system available and believe it will help us raise customer satisfaction to new heights.”

Celonic also saw great value in TrackWise Digital being a true software as-a-service (SaaS) QMS platform that does not require hefty upfront investments in IT infrastructure and administrative resources. The solution also allows Celonic to provide on demand remote access from any device and from anywhere in the world.

Besides using TrackWise Digital to gain greater control and visibility over quality events, Celonic will also use the system for employee training management. This will allow the company to ensure every employee is trained on the latest standard operating procedures (SOPs) and support continuous improvement initiatives across the organization. Furthermore, by implementing TrackWise Digital, the company expects to better serve its biopharma customers, while realizing incremental cost savings.

“We are thrilled to partner with an industry thought-leader like Celonic,” said Dana Jones, CEO of Sparta Systems. “They are a terrific example of how investing in quality allows companies to differentiate themselves and delivers greater value to clients. We look forward to working alongside and supporting this next phase of their growth.”
