Hans-Joachim Janhsen, Ph.D is the Executive Vice President, Operations at Celonic Group since November 2023.

Hans-Joachim has worked in both small and large reputable companies including GEHE AG, Schering AG, Johnson & Johnson and Baxter. He brings with him a wealth of experience in both GMP compliance as well as hands on Operations leadership and general management.

Before joining Celonic Hans-Joachim held several positions of increased responsibility in Development, Manufacturing, Quality Control as well as Analytical Services. He is an experienced Technical Director, Multi-Site Head/Operations Plant Manager, and proven General Manager. More recently, he has been an Independent Consultant in the area of GxP, Quality and Regulatory.

Hans-Joachim is a licensed Pharmacist, and is a Qualified Person (QP) according to European Regulation and holds a PhD in Pharmaceutical Chemistry, at the Christian-Albrecht University in Kiel. He pursued Post Graduate studies in Economics at the University of Lahr.
